ALL IN is a whimsical, heart-expanding movie about the mess, magic, and mayhem of becoming a family when you least expect it.
Eva Keating isn’t your typical aunt—or your typical anything. She lives alone in an apartment bursting with overflowing bookshelves, secret sketches, and the whimsical debris of a wild imagination. Eva’s reality is never quite ordinary: goldfish swim through ancient castles, polar bears lumber through the halls, and giant tarantulas occasionally stalk her kitchen. For Eva, life is a blur of stories—part dream, part memory, and part sheer creative chaos.
But when tragedy strikes and Eva unexpectedly becomes guardian to her late brother’s three children, the line between her fantastical inner world and real life begins to blur in ways no one could predict. Suddenly, Eva finds herself on an unpredictable cross-country road trip with three grieving kids—a sarcastic teen artist, a hyperactive middle-schooler, and an irrepressible seven-year-old with a flair for the dramatic—plus a goldfish named Jack Fish, who may just be the wisest of them all.
As the mismatched quartet (and fish) bounce from motels to rollercoasters, Waffle Houses to magical forests, Eva’s imagination explodes into their shared reality—transforming battles with grief into epic adventures, and ordinary mishaps into moments of laughter and connection. Whether facing motel-room disasters, enchanted snowstorms, or unexpected messages from beyond, the Keating family discovers that healing doesn’t happen in straight lines. Sometimes it looks like chaos, feels like a circus, and sounds suspiciously like laughter echoing through the pain.
Through it all, the late Jack Keating’s daily video messages—left for his kids and sister before the accident—become both a lifeline and a gentle nudge, challenging them to risk love, embrace adventure, and choose to live “all in,” even when the future is uncertain.
With its blend of heartfelt comedy, magical realism, and wild family adventure, ALL IN invites us to believe that imagination can change everything, and that when life falls apart, it’s never too late to say “yes” to the next chapter. This is a story where fantasy and reality collide, hope sneaks in through the cracks, and even the most reluctant hero can discover they were made for something beautiful.
